Sri Dhanvantari Arogyashrama was founded in 1961 as a philanthropic initiative by Sadvaidyasala, Karnataka’s oldest Ayurvedic medicine company, established in 1913 by Bhishagratna Ayurveda Vidwan B.V. Pundit. Guided by a non-profit ethos, the Arogyashrama has remained deeply committed to making authentic Ayurvedic care accessible to all while fostering growth and a deeper understanding of Ayurveda.
Located 23 km south of Mysore amidst 10 acres of lush, medicinal vegetation and biodiverse serenity, our centre offers a tranquil haven where nature itself becomes part of the healing process. With dedicated treatment rooms for men and women, and highly trained therapists, we provide ethical and affordable care rooted in classical Ayurvedic principles.

Over six decades, our experienced doctors have successfully treated thousands of patients for conditions such as arthritis, psoriasis, vitiligo, PCOD, male and female infertility, diabetes, obesity, asthma, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and more. We also offer rejuvenation therapies for healthy individuals, embracing the philosophy that prevention is better than cure.
